If you were hoping for a list of foods to avoid, a magic pill, perhaps a "Lose Weight While You Sleep" approach, then you've come to the wrong place. If you are not willing to commit then you aren't willing to do what is necessary to make a permanent change. Time will pass whether you do anything differently or not, but if you do make a change, after 4 weeks you'll see a significant improvement, you'll feel wonderful, and you'll be well on your way to the permanent resolution of your weight problem forever.

I have tried diets before. What is so different about A Unique Weigh?
We take the worry out of portion control and temptation by using balanced meals. You will be eating six times a day and will not feel deprived. We will provide you with the support, guidance, skills and other tools you need for long-term success.

Personalized Attention to Your Needs
When you start A Unique Weigh, your Consultant will design a plan to meet your specific lifestyle and needs. Every week you'll:

Assess your past week's results, including both your successes and challenges
Create an activity plan to build on your active lifestyle
Discuss strategies to plan for upcoming events such as dining out or traveling 

One-on-one Support to Keep You on Track
Your Consultant will meet with you privately each week to help motivate you, share your results, help you with any challenges and offer you the skills, strategies and information you need to achieve and maintain your weight loss goals. For the first four weeks, your Consultant will cover one topic at a time: Food, Body or Mind. The fifth week features an intermediate check-up, where we mark your milestones achieved, revisit your measurements and BMI to celebrate your successes, and establish new goals (as necessary). Over time, your confidence will increase and you'll feel more ready to direct the focus of your weekly consultations.

Your A Unique Weigh Consultant will be your partner in lifestyle change – providing guidance and support. In fact, many clients tell us their Consultant was the most important part of A Unique Weigh Program

Comprehensive Training and Certification

You'll be in good hands with your A Unique Weigh Consultant. A Unique Weigh prides itself on hiring health-oriented and client-focused individuals who genuinely enjoy working with people. Once hired, all Consultants attend a comprehensive training course and are certified by A Unique Weigh. Consultants also receive monthly continuing education in areas relating to weight loss, physical activity and motivation. When clients have special needs or requests, Consultants are there for you. And all of our Consultants have been clients of A Unique Weigh themselves!

Behavior Guidance Classes
Help you develop better eating habits and ways of thinking about food to break old eating patterns that may be contributing to your weight problem.

Flexible Meal Plans
Give you the pleasure of cooking or the convenience of delicious ready-to-eat meals that make your dieting easier than ever before!

Body Composition Analysis
Measures your body's ratio of fat to muscle. Repeated BCA measurements give you a progress report, help ensure you're losing fat, not muscle, and enable your counselor to adjust your diet for optimum weight loss results!

Exercise Programming
Your Consultant will recomment increasing your activity through walking, strength training, flexibility training or aerobic activity. As with weight loss, your exercise program will be based on your individuals needs and abilities. We have certified trainers on staff.
